I've always wanted to work for a science publication, and the opportunity came from IEEE, home of the highly respected, ASME-winning technology magazine, IEEE Spectrum. I was fortunate to add several awards of my own to their cabinet, including a SPD Gold Medal for feature design and multiple awards for design, photography and infographics.
